Out of Gas*

Ring a Day 24

Ring a Day 24

Created Jan. 24

I finally had a whole day to sit down at the bench!  It was terribly exciting!
I had an idea; I started to make it; I went to turn on the torch; and I’d left the oxygen on…would have been no big deal if there wasn’t a leak at my flashback arrestors!
 ARG!
My gas peeps are closed on Sunday, so instead I dug out an old casting and put some tourmaline in it….
after sulking for a while.

*The title of one of my very favorite episodes of a favorite TV show.  Bonus points if you can name it!

I am finding myself increasingly jealous of people who manage to sit at the bench every day.  This day I painted the bedroom.  It looks RAD!

Community Supported Agriculture+ RAD 19

While our friends were out of town we were fortunate enough pick up their CSA box.  If you are unfamiliar with Community Supported Agriculture, I highly recommend you check it out!  You just give them money up front and they supply you a big box of 26 weeks of their best produce!  From just that one box, we were so overwhelmed with fresh yumminess that we joined up ourselves with Groundworks.  If you are in Portland, Bend, or Eugene, Oregon they can supply you, too! This farm is great!  We always bought from them at market anyway:)

Okay, so it doesn’t rhyme. It’s just so cute I had to start singing.

I’m more of a princess camper/day hiker myself, but I envy those with the fortitude to take on the major trails!
